mTw.int on their way to Dallas
”Ladies and Gentlemen... This is your captain speaking”... these were the first word we head on our 27 hours trip to Dallas, USA.
Since these 27 hours probably was the most boring hours ever in my life I am not going into details. So let’s just jump forward to where the action actually happens.
We landed in Dallas Forth North Airport around 18:30 local time. That suited us very well, since we were wasted and just wanted to go to our hotel and sleep. After a qucik stop at Denny’s (American Diner) we arrived at our hotel. We saw our group and didn’t feel the need to study any opponents.
The next day we got two taxies to the event which is like 10 minutes away, and we met SK with two Jimmy Allen players.. at least that was written on their shirts.. We quickly noticed it was just moddi who borrowed Gux’s shirt. ;)
We saw the event, and I must say that Arbalet did it again... The computers are good (could use some 100hz tfts though) the temperature is good, and there is absolutely nothing to complain about.
After our matches we decided to go out and discover Dallas. But things doesn’t quite work as it does in Europe. It is extremely hard to get a bus or a cap (unless you wanna pay loads of money) to get you into downtown. So we rented two cars for 40$ each per day. Which is basically the same amount you use on gas in Denmark in one day ;).
We went to North Park Shopping mall and hanged out the whole day after the groupstage, and went home when we found out about the new groups.
The team is pretty jetlagged, included my self, so if there is any spelling mistakes, I am deeply sorry about that! – Pictures, videos, video-interviews with the team will be uploaded as soon as possible, but the internet on the event is really crappy, so we have to do it from our hotel.
That was it for today, and see you guys tomorrow!
